In warm water with lime juice,soak in the omena for about 15 minutes

In a pan with cooking oil,shallow fry the omena

Stir occasionally till they are evenly browned and crispy then set aside
- 4
Fry your onions to golden brown,add garam masala tumeric powder and simmer till they're tender then add the previously shallow fried omena
- 5
Serve when hot,sprinkle chopped coriander and enjoy.My accompaniment was ugali and mango chutney dip sauce
