Steps

Rinse the amla well. Prick it with fork. Dissolve 1/2 tsp lime powder in a water and soaked Amla overnight.

Remove and wash throughly.

Then heat 1/2 litreof water in a pan. Add amla in a boiling water.

Cook for 5 minutes or till it becomes soft. Drain and keep aside.

Heat the sugar in 1 cup of water till the sugar dissolves and form one string consistency.

Add Amal and continue to cook till the mixture is thick and translucent.

Switch off the gas. Let it cool down completely. Store it in air tight container.
