Ingredients

  1. 400 gmprawn
  2. 2onion paste
  3. 1 tspginger garlic paste
  4. 1 cupdesiccated coconut
  5. 1 cupcoconut milk
  6. 1tomato puree
  7. 1 tspcumin seeds
  8. 1baby leaf
  9. 1 handfulwhole garam masala
  10. 1 tspred chilli powder
  11. 1 tspturmeric powder
  12. To tastesalt and sugar
  13. As neededboil and ghee

  1. 1

    Marinate the prawn with salt and turmeric powder

  2. 2

    Heat oil and temper cumin seeds baby leaf and whole garam masala

  3. 3

    Add prawn and shallow fry it

  4. 4

    Add onion paste and ginger garlic paste

  5. 5

    Saute lightly and add salt and turmeric powder and cover

  6. 6

    As the prawn dmell of masala disappears add tomato puree saute till oil separates

  7. 7

    Add desiccated coconut and keep stirring

  8. 8

    Add milk and cover till the prawns are soft and juicy

  9. 9

    Add ghee sugar and garam masala powder

  10. 10

    Serve it with steaming hot rice
