Ingredients

20 minutes
2 servings
  • 2 cupsdehradun basmati rice
  • 1/2 cupcashew-raisins
  • 1/4 tspyellow food colour
  • 1 handfulwhole garam masalas
  • To tastesalt and sugar
  • As neededghee

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Wash the rice and mix yellow food colour

  2. 2

    Heat ghee and temper whole garam masalas

  3. 3

    Add cashew raisins and fry a second

  4. 4

    Add rice saute well adding salt

  5. 5

    Add warm water and boil until it is soft

  6. 6

    Add sugar and mix well and switch off

  7. 7

    Serve it with dum aaloo or mutton kosha
