Ingredients

  1. 110 gmAll Purpose Flour
  2. 1 teaspoonbaking powder
  3. 1Egg
  4. 1/2 cup Sugar
  5. 60 gramsunsalted Butter at room temperature
  6. 1 1/2 tablespoonunsweetened cocoa powder
  7. 2 pinchred food colouring gel
  8. 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
  9. 1/4 teaspoonSalt
  10. 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  11. 60 gramwhite chocolate chopped in chunks
  12. 1/2 cup powdered Sugar

Steps

    Sieve flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in a bowl and keep it aside

  2. 2

    Blend sugar and butter in a bowl until light creamy and fluffy

  3. 3

    Add egg and blend until creamy

  4. 4

    Add lemon juice, vanilla extract and red food colouring. blend well

  5. 5

    Gradually add the dry ingredients and blend until well combined

  6. 6

    Add chopped white chocolate and fold in gently

  7. 7

    Cover vessel with cling wrap and refrigerate for 2-3 hours

  8. 8

    Take spoonful of dough and coat it with powdered sugar

  9. 9

    Place them on prepared baking tray and gently flatten it slightly leaving 4-5 cm gap in between the cookies

  10. 10

    Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes in preheated oven at 180 deg until they are cracked

  11. 11

    Cool on baking tray for 25-30 minutes

  12. 12

    Cool on wire wrack completely

  13. 13

    Store in airtight container. Serve as required
