Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 3/4mug milk of your choice; if you’re using a plant-based milk, use an unsweetened version
  2. 1/2mug water
  3. 5cardamom pods, crushed
  4. 1/2 tspground ginger(or a peeled, grated 1-2cm chunk fresh ginger)
  5. 3cloves
  6. 1 tspfennel seeds
  7. 2-3dried rosebuds (the ones used for tea)
  8. 1 tspblack tea - or 1 teabag
  9. 1/2 tspground cinnamon - or a cinnamon stick
  10. 1-2 tbsprose water
  11. Sweetener of choice eg jaggery or honey

Steps

  1. 1

    Put everything except the cinnamon, rose water and sweetener into a pan. Heat on a low heat for 10- 15 mins.

    Add the rose water to taste. And finally the sugar/ honey and enjoy 😋
