Ingredients

  • 1 cuproasted moong dal
  • 1 cupchopped carrot,gourd tomato
  • 1 tspcumin seed
  • 1 tspginger paste
  • 1red chilli
  • 1bay leaf
  • To tastesalt and sugar
  • As neededoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil and temper cumin seeds, bay leaf and red chilli

  2. 2

    Add vegetables and saute well

  3. 3

    Add salt and turmeric powder

  4. 4

    Add tomato and saute well

  5. 5

    Add dal and boil until it gets cooked

  6. 6

    Add sugar and mix well
