Flax seed Naan Bread

In my previous posts, I shared recipes for making spicy lentil flat naan bread, and also chickpea flat bread. And today I am sharing two wonderful gluten free breads. This is my Flax seed naan bread. A good and healthy flat bread replacement when doing a low -carb diet. Good source of protein and fibre.
baking Flax seed flat bread at home is very easy and simple. With a few ingredients you can create a good gluten free bread naan.
If you are vegan /vegetarian might make your vegetable rolls or wraps or if you are non vegetarian use this bread for making your burger/ kebab wraps.

Grind flax seed in your blender. Add spices to the flax seed meal,, mix together. Bring the water to a boil and remove it from the heat.

Add flax seed meal to the hot water and with a spatula or wooden spoon stir quickly until all ingredients come together and make a soft dough (about a minute).

Then divide it into 4 balls (if you wish to make smaller bread naan, so make smaller balls).

Place one of balls on a piece of parchment paper and cover it with other parchment paper as you see in the photos.
Now with a rolling pin, roll out the dough and make it flat. - 6
Oh by the way do not worry about rough edges, because we will trim it shortly :).Cut a circle of dough using a suitable sized plate /bowl for making a round tortilla or wrap

Once you prepared all dough. Heat a non stick pan over medium heat (if you wish add some vegetable oil or butter). Bake one side and flip over to bake other side (about 2-minutes each side).

You might serve these tasty breads warm or cold, Store them in the fridge for 4-5 days..
