Preheat oven to 325°F.

Fry bacon strips in pan. Remove bacon from pan and reserve for later. Add onions and saute until translucent. Add ketchup, water and brown sugar. Bring mixture to boil.

Add green beans to a 9x13-inch baking dish. Pour mixture from pan on top of green beans. Crumble bacon and sprinkle on top of grean beans.

Bake uncovered in oven 2-3 hours.
