Ingredients

  1. 4 cupsflour
  2. 5 tspbaking powdee
  3. Pinchsalt
  4. 1/2 cupsugar
  5. 1 cupbuttermilk
  6. 3 tbspbutter
  7. 2tspn mixed spice
  8. 1 tspnutmeg

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all the dry ingredients

  2. 2

    Rub in the butter to the flour mixture

  3. 3

    Add the buttermilk little by little till you have a soft dough.

  4. 4

    Cover it to rest for at least 30 min.

  5. 5

    Deep fry with oil
