In a pot boil the water.

Add the cabbage leaves to the water and let boil for 12 minutes

Turn down the heat to a slow rolling boil and let sit for another 45 minutes

Take the leaves out and let the water boil for 2 more minutes

Add the sugar and let boil (stirring consistently) until the sugar dissolves
- 6
Add the curry leaves and boil for 4 more minutes

Sift out the curry leaves

Pour into many glasses and add the ice cubes to each glass
- 9
