Steps

Wash and Soak Urad dal for 3 hours minimum. Grind it to a smooth batter.

In a large mixing bowl, take dal batter. Add Sooji to it. Mix all into a smooth thick batter. Add little water, if needed. Add salt.

Let the batter rest for 15 minutes. Heat mini uttapam pan. Pour some oil and make uttapam by pouring batter with a katori. Spread it in the individual cavities.

Spread the finely chopped tomatoes, capsicum and onion on the top of the spread. Pour some oil on the top and edges. Cook both sides to golden colour. Transfer to the plate.

Sooji Urad Dal Mini Uttapam is ready to serve.
