Ingredients

  • 1 cuppoha(flattened rice)
  • 1big size chopped onion
  • 1 tspchopped green chilli
  • 1 tbscopped spring onion
  • 1/2 cupchopped cabbage
  • 1 tbschopped coriander
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspmix masala/ red chilli powder,dhniya and jeera powder
  • To tasteSalt
  • As neededButter / oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak the poha in water just about 2 to 3 minutes, then using a strainer drain all the water from the poha

  2. 2

    In mixing bowl add poha,cabbage,chopped chilli,onion,coriander,spring onion,turmeric,mix masala,salt and knead a soft dough

    Now take a small dough, flatten each portion on a thick polythene sheet

  4. 4

    Heat a tawa, spoon a little oil and transfer thalipith carefuly onto the tawa,spoon a little oil on the sides of thalipith

    Cover and cook both sides on medium flame

  6. 6

    Serve hot with butter or chutney
