Ingredients

15-18 baje
  1. Batter ingredients
  2. 1 cupMaida,
  3. 3/4 cupWater
  4. 1/2 cupHung curd
  5. 1/4 cupRice flour
  6. 1 tspBaking soda,
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. To temper the batter
  9. 1 tspCoconut oil
  10. 1/2 tspJeera
  11. 1 sprigCurry leaves roughly chopped
  12. 1 tspMustard seeds
  13. 1Green chilli finely chopped
  14. 1 tspGinger

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Take a bowl mix all the ingredients under bater head. And make a thick batter. Not a very flowing consistency.

  2. 2

    Give it a temper with the ingredients under temper head.

  3. 3

    Keep aside for 15 mins. Heat a kadai and deep fry them into small ball size.
    Serve it hot with coconut chutney.

    Tip:
    1. To avoid oily Baje; heat the oil in high flame. Then keep it in medium flame and drop it one by one.
