Healthy and flavoured rice recipe prepared mainly with basmati rice and spiced tomato pure. It is an ideal one pot meal or lunch box, served with curd or raita.
Steps

Soak rice for half an hour. Boil the tomatoes first and peel them and grind it to make pure.

Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera, mustard seeds and hing. add dried red chilli, onion and saute well until becomes light brown.

Add chilli powder, garam masala and stir well.

Now add rice, water and salt, stir well.

Now cover the pan and cook it a low flam. Keep stirring till the cook.

Cover for five minutes and then add ghee and some roasted dry fruits and serve hot with curd or raita.
