In a saucepan, add apples, lemon zest, cinnamon, sugar, salt, raisins/cranberries and fill saucepan with water till apples are covered.

Stew apples, once water boils, turn flame down to a simmer for 30 min, allow to cool

Spray and cook cupcake holders and line with already cut out circle of puff pastry (roll puff pastry out on floured surface).

Brush jam and whisked egg onto the pastry and add filling and top with a star cut out of puff pastry.

Bake at 180 degrees oven till golden brown (+-45 min)
