Super DELISHOUS cobbler!
I got this recipe from my 87 year old neighbor Nora who got it from her Aunt Elma. This recipe is at least 50 years old.
Keep passing it on! This recipe can be made with peaches, cherries or blackberries and lots of love!

Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 2 Cupsfruit
  2. 1/2 Cupsugar
  3. 1 stickbutter
  4. 1 Cupflour
  5. 3/4 Cupsugar
  6. 2 teaspoonsbaking powder
  7. 1 pinchsalt
  8. 3/4 Cupmilk

Cooking Instructions

    Mix 1/2 cup of sugar in a bowl with fruit and set aside.

    Preheat oven to 350° and melt the butter in bottom of 9x13 baking dish.

    In a bowl, stir together the flour, 3/4 cup of sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk. Pour this batter over melted butter in baking dish.

    At this time, add fruit to the top of batter in baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes or until top of cobbler is browned on top.

    45 minutes of baking time was perfect in my oven!

    Serves up great with a couple scoops of vanilla ice cream.
