Kala chana chole(Black chickpea chole)

Soak the black chana in the water overnight. Wash the chana and keep aside.Heat the oil in a cooker add cumin seeds and bay leaf.

Add the chopped onions cook now add black chana in it and mix it well.

Now add salt and cook for minutes. Grind the 1/2 onion, garlic, ginger make a paste.

Mix the masala in a paste now add the all masala paste in cooker and mix it well.

Add little water in it and mix it very well.

Cook it well till you see oil popping out, now add 2 glasses of water and mix it well now add salt in it.

And again mix it well at last add baking soda and mix it well

Now close the lid of pressure cooker and let it whistle for 5 to 6 times. Now chole is ready to serve
