Ingredients

  • 300 gmspointed gourd
  • 1 cupchopped tomato
  • 1 tspginger paste
  • 1 tbspcumin powder
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 1bay leaf
  • 1 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala powder
  • To tastesalt and sugar
  • As neededoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil and fry the pointed gourd adding salt and turmeric powder and cover till it gets soft

  2. 2

    Add cumin seeds bay leaf and red chilli

  3. 3

    Add ginger paste and saute for a while

  4. 4

    Add cumin powder and tomato and stir well

  5. 5

    Add red chilli powder and mix well

  6. 6

    Add sugar and mix well, sprinkle garam masala powder and ghee
