Soya Shammi Kebab

#simpleandsizzling......we all have eaten the shammi kebab made with either chicken or mutton, but trust me, try the vegetarian version of it. It is as much as tasty as the shammi kebab made with meat and you will love it.
Soya Shammi Kebab
#simpleandsizzling......we all have eaten the shammi kebab made with either chicken or mutton, but trust me, try the vegetarian version of it. It is as much as tasty as the shammi kebab made with meat and you will love it.
Steps
- 1
Heat a pan, add dry kashmiri red chilli, coriander and cumin seeds, green cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon stick, and dry roast them till they change colour and leaves fragrance.Transfer it to mixer grinder and grind it to a fine powder.
- 2
Heat oil in a pan, add onion, ginger and garlic chopped, green chilli chopped, soaked gram dal, soya granules boiled. Saute the mixture until all the water dries out. (Here i have used soya chunks because i had no soya granules but soya granules are far easier to use in this particular recipe)
- 3
Transfer it to a mixer jar and blend it to a fine paste. After blending if some of the dal is still intact then never mind, it will cause no ham.
- 4
Remove the mixture to a large bowl, add potato grated, dry masala mixture, salt, mint and coriander leaves chopped, gram flour and mix well.
- 5
Grease your hand first. Take a dollop of the mixture and make round shaped kebab out of them.
- 6
Heat oil in a pan and fry the kebab for 3-4 mins until. Flip the kebab and fry the other side again for 3-4 mins.
