  15. For the sandwich:

  17. 2fried potatoes
  18. 2 tablespoonsfinely crushed garlic (optional)

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and cut the chicken, then season with salt and white pepper.

    For the marinade: Combine all the ingredients and mix well until the mixture is smooth. Add the chicken, stir, and let it marinate for two hours or more.

    Preheat the oven and place the shawarma inside.

    Remove when cooked through.

    Place in the flatbread with fried potatoes, pickles, garlic, and lettuce. You can bake the sandwich in the oven or on a grill. Optionally, brush the sandwich with oil, but I didn't. Enjoy!

    Note: I used thighs with the breast to prevent dryness, as breast alone can be dry. We had it for dinner and suhoor. I hope you try it; it's very delicious and smells amazing.
