Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 250 gmspotatoes preferably baby potatoes
  2. 3 tsp.gram flour
  3. 1/4 cuphung curd
  4. 1 tsp.ginger garlic paste
  5. 1 tsp.red chilli powder
  6. 1/2 tsp.coriander powder
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1/2 tsp.garam masala
  9. 1/2 tsp.chaat masala
  10. 1 pinchcrushed kasuri methi
  11. 1/2 tsp.amchoor powder / dry mango powder
  12. 1 tbsp.oil

Cooking Instructions

    Wash the potatoes and peel the skin

    Boil them until they are little less than cooked.

  3. 3

    Chop the potatoes into big squares.

  4. 4

    Now let’s prepare the marinade. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a bowl.

    Add the potatoes to this marinade and mix everything well until the potatoes are completely covered with the marinade.

    Let it sit for around 40-50 minutes.

    Soak the bamboo skewers in some water for some time

  8. 8

    You can choose how you want to grill them. They will taste better if you grill them with charcoal. It gives a distinct flavour to the aloo tikka. I choose to grill in an oven.

    Line the aloo pieces on to the skewers and grill them for about 15 minutes.

    Turn them around and again grill for 15 minutes or as needed.

    Brush them with butter and enjoy warm with ketchup or green chutney
