Cooking Instructions
- 1
First, grind the oats and toasted sesame seeds in a coffee grinder (a food processor or blender should also work).
- 2
In a bowl, add all the dry ingredients and mix them (the ground oats + ground sesame seeds + coconut + cinnamon).
- 3
Once everything is well mixed, gradually add the date paste while mixing well with a spatula. (Depending on the consistency of your paste, the amount may vary. We need a compact dough; if we add too much, the balls will be too soft).
- 4
When all the dry ingredients are well coated with the date paste, start forming the balls and roll them in the shredded coconut. (You can let the dough rest in the fridge to firm up and make it easier, but it's not necessary). Add the coconut to a small bowl, place each ball in, and by moving the bowl in a circular motion, they get coated quickly. Transfer them to another container and store them in the fridge.

These are tasty, protein-rich snacks for when you need a quick pick-me-up. The variations are endless and you can customize to your tastes. I first came across a similar recipe when I was breastfeeding my daughter. I was looking for snacks that were easy to make but which were healthier than processed foods. The recipe I found called them “Boobie Bites.” 😂. This recipe is a modification of the one I found several years ago.#Easy #Snack #Healthy #NoBake Chris Gan -
