Ingredients

  1. 1 cupbeaten or flattened rice
  2. 1 tspmustard seeds
  3. 8-10curry leaves
  4. 1large finely chopped onion
  5. 1/2 cupchopped vegetables (beans,carrot,potato and green peas)
  6. 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  7. 1-2 tbsproasted pea nuts
  8. 1-2finely chopped green chilli
  9. 1 tbspoil
  10. as requiredSalt
  11. 1 tsplemon juice
  12. 1 tspsugar
  13. 1 tbspchopped coriander leaves

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil in a pan.Crackle some mustard seeds.

    Add chopped onions and saute till it becomes transluscent.Add chopped green chilli and curry leaves. Saute for few seconds.

    Add all the chopped vegetables, turmeric powder,salt and saute for 5-10 minutes.

    Add roasted peanuts and stir it for few seconds.

    Rinse the poha in clean water till they become soften.Add the soften post to the vegetables and gently mix it.Cook for 2-3 mins in a low to medium flame.

    Add some sugar and stir it for 1/2 minute.

    Swith off the gas.Add some lemon juice and coriander leaves.Give it a gentle stir and serve hot with tea.
