Fried Kibbeh
An easy and budget-friendly kibbeh recipe from a relative.
Steps
- 1
Pick through the bulgur to remove any debris, then pour the boiling water over it.
- 2
After 30 minutes, knead the bulgur with salt, spices, and cinnamon. Add the flour to help the dough hold together.
- 3
Finely chop the onions and sauté them in olive oil. When they soften, add the ground beef, salt, spices, cilantro, nuts, and pomegranate molasses.
- 4
Shape the dough into balls, make an indentation in each, fill with the meat mixture, and form into oval or lemon shapes.
- 5
Fry in hot oil and serve with salad. Enjoy!
