Cut chicken into pieces, and season with a little salt and pepper. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the plain yogurt with the lemon juice, turmeric, garam masala, chilli powder, cumin, ginger paste, minced garlic and toss chicken.
Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour or more. - 2
Heat the oil or butter in a pan.
Add the chicken coated in the Marinade and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Add the pureed tomato, sugar and salt.
Turn down to low and cover and cook. - 3
Let simmer for 20 min.
Add the cream, and stir well.
Garnish with cilantro leaves.
Serve over rice and enjoy!:)
