Ingredients

10 mins cooking time
  1. 1 1/2 cupIdli rice or normal rice
  2. 1/2 cupUrad dal
  3. 1 tspMethi seeds

Cooking Instructions

    Soak methi seeds and urad dal together after washing 3-4 times for 4-5 hours

    Soak rice separately after washing for 4-5 hours

  3. 3

    Grind urad dal and methi with water as and when required

  4. 4

    Take it out in a bowl

  5. 5

    Now grind the rice

  6. 6

    Mix both the batters well

  7. 7

    Keep it at warm place to ferment for 12 hours covered

  8. 8

    Add salt and steam the idli.
