Ingredients

2 servings
  • 1 cupRava/semolina
  • 1 cupgreen peas
  • 1onion chopped
  • 1-2green chillies chopped or slit
  • 1tomato chopped
  • someCoriander chopped
  • Pinchgreen apple coloured or food colour as per choice
  • 1 tbspghee
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds to splutter

Steps

  1. 1

    Roast rava lightly and remove aside.

  2. 2

    Heat ghee and splutter mustard and curry leaves add chopped onion to saute.

  3. 3

    Add slit green chillies salt,coriander powder now add washed green peas cook and covered as in 2 mins peas soften.

  4. 4

    Now add green food colour, semolina and two cups hot boiled water for best results,cook stirring for 5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Cover for 2 minutes remove in serving bowl,top with chopped tomatoes.Enjoy hot.
