Ingredients

  1. 50 gmmakhana
  2. 750 mlmilk
  3. 1/4 cupcondensed milk
  4. Sugar as per taste
  5. 1/4 tspsalt
  6. 1/2 cupcashew nuts and raisins
  7. 1 tspghee
  8. 1/2 tspcardamom powder
  9. Some chopped pistachios
  10. Some chopped almonds
  11. 2-5 strandssaffron

Cooking Instructions

    Heat a Kadai with ghee and roast the cashew nuts and raisins in it and keep them aside.

    In the same Kadai roast the makhana for sometime till they become golden in colour in low flame.

  3. 3

    Then add milk and salt into it and allow it to boil for sometime.

  4. 4

    Boil it for 10 minutes and add condensed milk, sugar anddry fruits in it.

  5. 5

    Add the cardamom powder in it and mix it well and switch off the flame. Now your makhana kheer is ready.

    Serve warm or chilled condition by garnishing with some chopped pistachios,almonds and saffron strands.
