Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsmilk (480 ml)
  2. 1/4 cupsugar (50 grams)
  3. 2egg whites
  4. 2 cupsall-purpose flour (250 grams)
  5. 1/4 cupvegetable oil (60 ml)
  6. 1/2 teaspoonlemon zest
  7. 1/4 teaspoonsalt
  8. 1 tablespoonbaking powder
  9. 1/2 teaspoonvanilla extract

Steps

    In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients.

    In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients.

    Combine the wet and dry ingredients and stir until no lumps remain.

    The batter should be neither too thin nor too thick; add a little more milk if needed to thin it out.

    Pour the batter onto a preheated waffle maker, covering the entire surface, and cook for 5 to 8 minutes, depending on your waffle maker.
