Ingredients

  • 1 cupyellow moong dal
  • 1large tomato chopped
  • 2medium onions finely chopped
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/2 tspcoriander powder
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • Water as required
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  • As neededFew curry leaves
  • As neededCoriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1 tspginger garlic paste

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and soak day for 30 min boil dal till 75% cook

  2. 2

    Heat oil in pan add cumin seeds in crackle it add chopped onion saute it till pink add tomato and ginger garlic paste add dry spices and salt add little water and cover with lid cook till tomatoes soft mix it well add boil dal curry leaves and coriander leaves cook for five minutes

    Serve with roti naan or paratha
