All I had was this moonshine cherry vodka I won at a halloween party and I really wanted a moscow mule. So I got creative and oh boy did it turn out yummy!! My friends are always asking me to make this drink for them!!

Summer inspired- guessed how to make it but the salesman did say the mango vinegar makes a good gin and tonic. He was right.

This recipe was originally made with rum, but today I made it with gin. The result is that it felt like Friday came early. Hahaha.

The recipe online called for a shaker and muddling but I just wanted to use my new blender. I love gin and any excuse to make a nice cocktail. Other than the sugar explosion when I was trying to take the lid off to prepare the simple syrup, this was easy!

My love affair with gin began a long time ago and continues to this day. An old girlfriend introduced me to it and to tell you the truth I have forgotten how I used to drink it. I upgraded to my favorite gin Empress (loved the blue colour) with Elderflower Fever Tree tonic. But my goodness, I had the fortune to go to a dine out event and discovered how fan-freaking-tastic Gin+Elderflower tonic and of all things…marmalade mixed together. Not my idea but wow!
