Soyabean has immense health benefits and dumplings with mixed vegetables and soya granules are very healthy.Tossing them in soaked rice and steaming them is very appealing and served as an appetiser with chilli sauce or as per choice.

Soyabean has immense health benefits and dumplings with mixed vegetables and soya granules are very healthy.Tossing them in soaked rice and steaming them is very appealing and served as an appetiser with chilli sauce or as per choice.

Boil soya granules with little salt and dry up the water.Cool and mash the granules with fresh bread crumbs.Add ginger garlic paste,baking powder,chilli sauce,MSG,black pepper powder,salt to taste,cornflour and mix all.Add grated carrot,green chillies,capsicum and mix.If needed add some flour to make a pliable dough.

Make small balls out of the dough.Spread soaked rice on a plate.Roll all balls in the rice.Refrigerate for an hour to allow the rice to set.Heat water in a steamer or wok.Smear oil on a perforated drainer and place all balls on them with space in between because the dumplings will increase in size when steamed.Steam for 20 minutes till rice is done.Serve hot with green chilli sauce.
