Ingredients

  • 1.5 cupsdessicated coconut
  • 1 cupwater
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1 pinchcardamom powder
  • Color of your choice

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak the coconut in water for a few minutes

  2. 2

    Pour all other ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil

  3. 3

    Let it simmer until it thickens

  4. 4

    Add the coconut and stir

  5. 5

    Stir until it becomes dry

    Pour into a greased tray and let it set

    Shape. I learnt that it must completely set to be able to shape well.
