Break, shave off the back of the coconut and grate using a fine grater.

Next add the water, condensed milk, sugar and milk in a pot and bring to a boil add the grated coconut and allow to simmer until your desired thickness is achieved.

Place in the refrigerator to chill. Serve very cold or almost frozen garnish with some more grated coconut. And enjoy.

The condensed milk is optional but adds extra texture and creamy consistency and flavor to the kirkir
