Ingredients

  • 6large home made pitta bread
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL)vegetable oil
  • 1medium onion, sliced
  • 450 gboneless skinless chicken, cut in thin strips
  • 2 tbspchili powder
  • 2paprika powder
  • 1 1/2 tspdried oregano
  • 1 tspblack pepper powder
  • 3 tbspall-purpose flour
  • 1 cupMilk
  • 2 cubes#Happy_cow_cream
  • 1red bell pepper
  • 1green bell pepper
  • 1yellow bell pepper
  • strips, cut in thin
  • to tasteSalt and pepper,
  • #Toppings
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Shredded #happy_cow_Cheddar #Cheese_slice
  • Chopped Fresh tomatoes
  • Fresh lime wedges

Steps

  1. 1

    Make Warm pitta bread according to directions.

  2. 2

    In large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat; stir-fry onion until softened. Add chicken, chili powder. Peprika powder.black pepper and oregano;

  3. 3

    Stir-fry just until chicken is browned all over.

  4. 4

    Whisk flour into milk and #happy_cow_cheese_cream_cubes until smooth; stir into skillet.

  5. 5

    Add peppers; simmer, stirring, until liquid is bubbling and thickened...

  6. 6

    Season with salt and pepper.

  7. 7

    Spoon filling along pocket of each pitta add toppings and #happy_cow_cheddar_slice

  8. 8

    Fold up bottom of pitta pocket then fold sides to enclose filling......
    Serve it
