Lauki Ka Halwa (festive special)

Steps

Grate the lauki and remove most of it's water content.

Take 2 teaspoons ghee in a pan on low flame and cook the grated lauki for approx 5 minutes.

Now reduce the 1 litre full cream milk to 1/2 a litre in a pan.

Now take the grated cooked lauki prepared in the 2nd step and put it in the pan with the reduced milk and cook this mixture for about 30 minutes on high/medium flame. (continuous stirring is required)

Now at last add 3/4 sugar in this mixture, stir again for a while and now add 1/2 teaspoon elaichi powder.

Now switch off the flame and garnish with dry fruits. ENJOY!
