Ingredients

15-minutes
1-prrson - serv
  • 1/2 cup grated karela
  • 1 grated onion
  • 6-7grated garlic
  • 1 tbsp ginger peste
  • 1 tbsp chopped green chillies
  • 2 tbsp chopped Coriander
  • To tasteSalt
  • 2 tbsp curd(low fat)
  • 1/4 cup bhakhri flour(gehu ka atta)
  • 1/4 cup jowar flour
  • 3 tbsp besan / gram flour
  • Tempering
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp musterdseeds
  • 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tbsp hing
  • Garnishing
  • As requiredChopped Coriander leaves
  • Serving
  • As neededLow calorie green chutney

Steps

15-minutes
  1. 1

    Take a bowl combine all ingredients and mix well and knead a soft dough using little water.

    Divide the dough into 3-equal portions and shape a cylindrical roll.

    Steam the rollsin a steamer for 15-minutes till the knife comes out clean.

    Slice the muthia pieces.

    Heat oil in a kadai add musterdseeds and cumin seeds.

  6. 6

    Seeds crackle add hing and saute for few seconds.

  7. 7

    Add muthia pieces. mi well and cook for 2-minutes

    Garnish with Coriander leaves.

    Serve hot with green chutney.Enjoy

    Tip:grating the karela, start grating without peeling and avoid the white portion and seeds inside.
