Ingredients

20 servings
  • 1 kgall purpose flour
  • 1 cupmilk
  • 3/4 cupsugar
  • 1tspn Nutmeg
  • 1tspn cinnamon
  • 1/2 (1 cup)Blueband
  • 3tspns of baking powder

  1. 1

    In a bowl put in flour,blue band, Nutmeg, cinnamon, baking powder and sugar. Rub it until it looks like wet sand.

  2. 2

    Dig a well at the center and pour in warm milk while kneeding.

  3. 3

    Continue kneeding until you get the soft dough that is not sticky. Your hands should be clean after kneeding.

  4. 4

    Cover the dough for about 20 minutes to allow it to rise and all the spices fuse together.

  5. 5

    Kneed lightly then transfer the dough to your working are (make sure you dust the surface with flour) and spread it out just like you do for chapatti but this should be a little bit thick.

  6. 6

    Cut it into desired shapes and start frying in hot cooking oil until they are golden brown, remove from oil and put in a bowl that has a saviet so that it can absorb any excess oil. Repeat the process until all the dough is over.

  7. 7

    Allow them to cool then serve with tea or a cold drink.
