Methi Leaves Dal Fenugreek

Heat oil in a cooker and add mustard seed,split urad dal,cumin seed,garlic and dry red chilli for tempering.

Then add chopped onions and tomatoes, saute and cook till everything is merged.

Add methi leaves,give it a quick stir and add red chilli powder,salt, cumin powder and turmeric powder. Mix everything together.

Finally add moong dal and quarter cup of water. Close the cooker and put 3 whistles.

Open and blend for a second. Methi leaves dal is ready.
