Wash lentil first in pot combine it with water and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes until half cooked

In pot add the oil and chopped green onion cook for few minutes add the vermicelle and the crack wheat and fry for 5 minutes keep staring don’t burn it.

Pour the cooked lentils and chickpeas with the liquid over everything make sure it’s covered 2 cm add salt and cumin turmeric pepper mix well

Cook on high for the first 3 minutes then on lowest heat until water is absorbed and the crack wheat is tender served with fried onions on top is a must eat it with salad on top or yogurt on top enjoy.
