Ingredients

  1. 1/2 bowlUrad Daal
  2. 1/2 bowlMoong Dal
  3. As requiredSemolina papadi
  4. As requiredSounth (made with a tamarind and jaggery)
  5. As requiredGreen chutney (made with mint, coriander leaves and green chil)
  6. 1 bowlCurd
  7. To tasteSalt
  8. 1/2 tspRoasted cumin seeds
  9. 1/2 tspBlack pepper
  10. As requiredCooking Oil for deep frying

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak urad and moong Daal for four hours then drain excess water and grind it to a smooth paste. Add salt and hing powder. Mix well.

    Heat oil in a karahi. Put Dal pithi in karachi with the help of spoon in shape of small balls. Fry till golden brown colour. Remove in a plate.

    Now Boil water in a separate pan and put Bhalla into the water and soak for 10 minutes. Squeeze Bhalla and remove the water with the help of your palms.

  4. 4

    Take a serving bowl put Bhallas and semolina papdi, boiled potatoes and chickpea. Pour tamarind and green chutney and curd. Sprinkle salt and black pepper over it and Serve.
