  1. Malpua(pancake) ingredients
  2. 1 cuprefined flour
  3. 1 tbspdesi ghee
  4. 1 cupmilk
  5. 2 tbspsugar
  6. 1/4 tsprose essence
  7. 1/4 tspvanilla essence
  8. 1/4 tspbaking powder
  9. as neededWater
  10. Rabdi cream(filling) ingredients
  11. 6 tbspmilk powder
  12. 2 tbspsugar
  13. 1 cupmilk
  14. For garnishing
  15. as neededChopped almonds
  16. as neededCherries

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl mix all the pancake ingredients very well.

    Add milk and water to make pouring consistency batter, shouldn't be watery, cover and rest for 30minutes.

    For making cream, mix all the cream ingredients and cook until it gets thick, switch off the flame and keep to cool.

    After 30minutes mix the pancake batter well.

  5. 5

    On a non stick skillet pour 2tbsp batter and cook for 1 minute, do not flip the pancake.

    Complete the batter and cover the cooked bataye so it will not get dry.

    Now scoop 1-2tsp of the cream filling in the middle of the bataye and pinch the edges together sealing them half.

    Make all the qatayef like this.

    Sprinkle chopped almonds on the cream filled open sides of the bataye.

    Arrange nicely and they are ready to serve.
