Ingredients

  1. 200 gmsrefined Flour
  2. 2 cupsjaggery/ sugar
  3. 1grated coconut
  4. 1 tspblackpepper powder
  5. 1 tspelaichi powder
  6. as requiredRefine oil
  7. 1/2 cupfried and chopped cashew nuts and raisins
  8. as per tasteSalt

Cooking Instructions

    Grate the coconut. Mix elaichi powder, black pepper powder, jaggery/ sugar and fry it for 3-5 minutes. Switch off the flame. Add cashew and raisin. stuffing is ready.

    Take a pan. Add 2-3 cups of water. Add sugar, elaichi powder and pinch of salt. When the water starts boiling add maida to it and cook it for 2-3 minutes over low flames stir continuously.

    Let it cool in room temperature. Apply little bit oil in your palms & mash the dough nicely.

    Divide this dough into 20 equal parts. Make Katori shape by using your palms. Put the coconut stuffing and close by folding it and pressing the corners.

    Take oil in a kadhai. Fry the pithas till golden brown colour. Take them out and serve hot.
