Cooking Instructions

Boil water and add salt
- 2
Keeping flame in sim and add flour and stir well. Switch off flame and close the mixture with a lid and let it rest for 5 minutes.

In a sauce pan add 1/4 cup water and add grated jaggery and let it boil till nearing 1 string consistency.

Add cardamom powder to the jaggery.

Mix the dough thoroughly with hands after 5 minutes and let it rest in another vessel for 10 minutes wrapped in wet cloth. Close the vessel with a lid.

Again mix the dough well and take a big size ball and flatten it into 1/2 inch thick disc

Make designs of your choice on the disc

In medium flame heat oil well and deep fry the disc in low flame till its golden and crispy

Strain the excess oil

Dip the fried disc in the jaggery syrup and let it sit for 5 minutes

Take the disc away from the syrup and place in a plate
