Lentil curry #myfavouritecurry Lentil curry #myfavouritecurry
What inspired me to make this lentil curry is the fact that my mom never ever makes brown lentils which I love, because she complains about the long cooking time and all the gas it has haha and also she makes food super fast like 10-20 minutes (I'm not even lying). I decided to give my mom, who is a mother of 6 a rest for the day and cook up something wholesome for our family. Everybody loves lentils but nobody ever dared to make it in our home😂 lucky I did and it turned out pretty delicious! Served with fried potatoes, flatbread, and chicken meatballs. Almost 24 hours later and they're still raving about the food so it was definitely a hit!!Bushra Adams

Chicken and Chickpea Curry Chicken and Chickpea Curry
It was 100°F (38°C) when I made this mildly spicy, hearty dish in a futile effort to summon Autumn 😂. Yes, it’s probably better suited for Fall, but it has an amazing flavor and is nutritious, too! I didn’t think my young daughter would like it, but she did!The ingredient list looks a little long, but don’t let that deter you. The prep is fairly easy and it comes together quickly once you have the ingredients ready. This recipe is definitely going into my regular rotation.Note: You can make this dish vegetarian by omitting the chicken and adding another can of chickpeas. This recipe was modified from “The Real Food Dieticians.”#GlobalApron - Week 24. After being diagnosed with type II diabetes, I decided to eat healthier. Now my wife has type II also, I've been trying a lot of different recipes, and in the spirit of meatless Monday, I decided to try this. I wanted to try the black lentils, as I find the normal Brown ones, well, boring. So I took a couple different recipes and did this. Fo Fa -

Lentil and tomato curry, Indian style Lentil and tomato curry, Indian style
Recently summoned the courage to experiment with Indian spices and was pleased that the results were pretty tasty. I didn't strictly measure ingredients, sorry, so these are my best estimates (YMMV). Very easy to make, too, which is a huge plus. I served it with an improvised mixed raita of Greek yogurt, green onions, tomato, and mint, plus a frozen paratha that I revived in butter. Jon -

Easy Chicken Tomato Curry Easy Chicken Tomato Curry
I made chicken curry (one of my favorites) in a very short time with canned tomatoes. Our family's secret seasoning combination is 1 teaspoon each of Japanese Worcestershire-style sauce and ketchup.Sautéed onion releases juices, so 200 ml of water should be enough.I like chicken breast better than thigh meat because it is healthy and it does not melt away.Even people who do not like tomatoes will like this curry.
