Ingredients

30 mins
6 servings
  • 15boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 10chopped green chilli
  • 10chopped tomatoes
  • 3 tsphaldi / turmeric powder
  • 3 cupswater
  • 8 tsppav bhaji masala
  • 3 tspdhaniya / coriander powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • 200 gbutter
  • As neededFor garnish, cilantro
  • For pav
  • 10buns
  • As neededButter for sauting

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    In a kadhai, add butter,green chilli and tomato

  2. 2

    Keep cooking on medium heat and keep mashing

  3. 3

    Add all spices and potatoes

  4. 4

    Keep mashing and add water.

  5. 5

    Keep stirring and mashing. Cover the lid and cook for 5 mins

  6. 6

    Remove lid. Keep mashing. And cook for 5 more minutes. Mix well. Garnish with fresh cilantro and butter.

  7. 7

    Cut buns into two and butter the inner side and fry on medium heat.

  8. 8

    Your pav bhaji is ready to be eaten
