French onion burgers (mushroom & Swiss or fully loaded bacon burgers)

Ingredients

4 big burger
  1. 1 lbground beef or 1/2 lb of ground beef mixed with 1/2 lb of venison
  2. to tasteSalt, pepper and garlic powder
  3. 1 packFrench onion soup mix
  4. Onion or brioche buns
  5. For onion Swiss burgers:
  6. 1/2Vidalia onion sliced
  7. 1 cupmushrooms sliced
  8. 1 teaspoonbutter
  9. 2 slicesSwiss cheese
  10. For loaded bacon burger:
  11. 4 stripsbacon cut in half
  12. Lettuce
  13. slicesTomato
  14. 2 slicesAmerican cheese
  15. Onion slices or toppings of choice

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Mix ground beef with French onion soup mix and spices stated and cook.

    Sauté mushrooms and onions in butter about 7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook bacon.

  4. 4

    Place onions, mushrooms and Swiss cheese on top 2 burgers and place on brioche or onion buns. Top the remaining 2 burgers with cheese and bacon and toppings listed or toppings of your choice! Enjoy!
