Steps

Soak rice for 30 min.
Then whistle 5 in cooker by adding 1 glass of water to it.
Heat a pan.
Add chana dal and urad dal to it.
Let it become golden brown in colour. - 2
Add mustard seeds and let it sputter.
Then add cumin seeds to it.
Add curry leaves to it.
Sprinkle asafoetida.
Then chilli and ginger garlic paste to it.
Saute it till fragrance come out of it.Off the gas. - 3
Now add boiled rice,milk and curd to it.
Then add salt coriander to it.
Mash it with hands.
Rest it for 4 to 6 hours.
Our curd rice is ready now.
Enjoy this drolling and scrumptious southindian dish.
