Methi Pulav
Steps

Wash and Soak rice in water.

Wash and Soak soya chunks in little water.

Wash and Chop fenugreek leaves and chop onion and potato. Make puree of tomato by grating. Grate ginger.

Heat oil in pressure cooker and add cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put finely chopped onions. Stir fry for 2 minutes. Add chopped potato and soaked soya chunk. Stir fry till oil leaves the cooker.

Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, black pepper seeds and cloves. Mix well. Now add tomato puree and grated ginger and stir well.

Now add all chopped fenugreek leaves and rice. Stir for 2 minutes.

Add 2 bowls of water. Cover the lid and pressure cook till 2 whistles. Switch off the flame.

Open cooker and serve nutritious hot rice pulao.
